Sydenham Fayre 2019 has fun for the whole family and there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained. From games, activities and stalls to enjoy; there’s something for children of all ages. We’ve listed a few of our highlights below.
Run Riot At The Assault Course
Our incredible inflatable assault course will provide endless fun for children of all ages. Watch them race through blockades, poles and rollers, before climbing the ladder and down the slide to the end. It’s the ultimate in exhausting fun! You’ll find the assault course just by the Village Green.
Play Games at Children’s Corner
Children’s Corner has been a regular feature Sydenham Fayre for many years. It hosts a range of activities and games designed for children to take part in, keeping them entertain for hours! It’s also right next to our ice cream stall, so why not cool off while the kids are having fun.
Be Entertained by Mr Marvel
We’re delighted that Mr Marvel will be joining us once again at this years’ event. Over the past few years Mr Marvel has wowed our younger audiences with his magic tricks and traditional Punch and Judy show. The show starts from 1.30pm and run throughout the afternoon on the grass next to the Old School Rooms. Listen out for updates from the Fayre compere for when each show starts.
Be Inspired With Stokenchurch Judo Club
We’re delighted to welcome Stokenchurch Judo Club to Sydenham Fayre 2019. The club have been together since 1982 and will be demonstrating the discipline of Judo on the Village Green from 2.30pm. The group, led by Ron and Nigel, will show various aspects of Judo with the hope of inspiring the next generation of Olympic champions.
Try and Beat the Goalie
Do your children fancy themselves as the next Harry Kane or Raheem Sterling? Get them to test their football and penalty skills with our Beat the Goalie game. Located down Brookstones, participants will win prizes for each time they successfully score and beat the goalie!
We listed just a few highlights here but there is plenty more you can expect on the day. Face painting, tattoos, slime, nail painting, bouncy castle – plus a visit from the local fire engine are just a few of the other attractions. With so much to do, the whole family will need a rest by the end of the day! We look forward to seeing you all on 1st June 2019 from 12.30pm.
