Sydenham Fayre 2018: That’s a Wrap!

Sydenham Fayre 2018

The sun shone, the people came, and a fantastic time was had by all at Sydenham Fayre 2018.

The village centre and Brookstones were packed with villagers and visitors and from the feedback we’ve had, everyone had a most enjoyable day.

As a result, the Fayre made a hugely impressive profit of £5,656.

Once all payments and income have cleared and we have a final balance in our bank account, we’ll be able distribute the bounty. Sydenham Fayre is run primarily to support Sydenham groups such as the Cricket Club, WI, choir etc. but if you represent a group that has not previously benefited and you would like to request a donation, please do so by contacting us or by contacting one of the committee.

The Sydenham Fayre 2018 committee would like to thank everybody who helped make the day such a big success. If you organised something, manned a stall, ran an activity, helped set up and/or pack away, donated something, lent us your land or simply spent your money, then thank you so much.

Finally, I want to personally thank the seven unstoppable ladies of the committee. Basically, they came up with great ideas and put them into practice before the ink on the meeting minutes was dry. Sue, Cheryl, Vicki, Hayley, Lizzie, Haruyo and Pippa, thank you so much. You have been brilliant, not to mention very entertaining.

Geoff Isherwood, Chair of Sydenham Fayre Committee
